Contact UsClasses are held for children from 2 years 6 months to five years old. The 4 Plus class is especially for older
4's and younger 5's who are kindergarten age but not ready to handle the academic and emotional
demands of kindergarten. This curriculum is appropriate for children who can sustain attention to
an activity for a longer time and are familiar with a school routine. Language development through
speaking, listening, dictating and story telling is an important part of the program.
The school year is from September through May. The calendar is based on the Scotch Plains-Fanwood public school calendar with minor exceptions.
To enroll in the Pre-School, a child entering the 3 Minus Class must be 2 years 6 months old by the first of October; the child does not have to be toilet trained.
Children will be more relaxed and have more fun getting involved in daily activities if they don’t have to worry about soiling their clothes. We encourage you to dress them in “play clothes”.
